This is what she had to say about the whole pre-contest prep...
SF:How do you cope with having 4 kids and training along with contest prep?
SS:It is very difficult. Luckily, I have an amazing trainer who is positive and upbeat and makes me feel Like I can do anything. She builds me up when I feel like I cant do it anymore, and helps me stay focused. Ive tried to get my kids excited about the show and they are looking forward to seeing me compete. Ive reassured them that while its been a very busy 4 months for us, this kind of training wont last forever and Ill be back soon! Stick with me!
SF:What motivates you?
SS:The desire to win and to feel good about myself. I feel healthier than ever (even if more tired!) but Ive always wanted to show myself that I can set a high goal and achieve it, even if its only stepping onto the stage.

Recipe of The Month "low fat breakfast pancakes"
Using a hand blender mix together the following:1/2 cup of oatmeal (adjust according to desired carbs)250ml of egg whitessprinkle of cinnamonShot of vanilla extractadd choice of berries/fruit
